One of Zambia’s most followed and most loved male hit singer, songwriter, music producer and record producer – Yo Maps, has finally gained over 2 million followers on some of his social media handle, and with this his manager, DJ Kandeke, posted his rate card. As it stands right now, booking Yo Maps costs about K255,000 which is equivalent to about $10,000. This has not been received pretty well by most of his music fans, as they say that amount is just too expensive. This means most tickets to Yo Maps shows are likely to be above K250 per person and depending on the age.
Some fans gave some statements such as “I have seen alot of artists say different prices on social media. But as club managers, we negotiate and reach an agreement away from their prices. I know atleast who would say 25pin + but after negotiating we would even pay 15pin. So these are just social media things otherwise that price in Zambia, that’s alot of money. As a club manager, I pay him that much and how much will I make, more likely a loss“. Some of the funniest comments read, “Awe tukaya monanafye nankwe ku paradise”, “Someone said ati it’s okay we will be seeing him kumalilo for free😭😭”. Stay tuned for more updates!!!
